True city boy here, growing up in the Chicagoland area,
school in Boston, and now working in DC. I appreciate my
Midwestern roots and find that despite living on the East
Coast for the past eight (whoa!) years, I am often returning
to a desire to be around honest, genuine, caring, and
straight-forward individuals...something which can be
difficult to find in this city.
I ride my bike daily
(love it!) and like to go the gym, on hikes, and
kayaking/rowing. While I like nature and what it has to
offer, there is also something to be said for having
structure and rhythm to some things.
Traveling is one of
my favorite things, especially the cultural exchange that
comes with it. I have traveled extensively in Eastern and
Central Europe and the Middle East. |

I have been described as a "tall Hispanic guy." Though
partially correct, I am also white. Also, though I do go
the gym rather frequently, I am not some muscle guy nor am I
the opposite...basically have a few extra but told I look
pretty darn good for where I am. I work out not because I
am obsessed with how others perceive me, but because I want
to be as healthy as I can be.
I have been told my eyes
are nice, but I really like my legs (again, a former
here)!

I am looking for someone that knows what trust and
commitment are. Without those, I don't believe a
relationship can last. I value honest conversation and
standing up for what you believe in. Also, the ability to
make decisions and take charge at times is much welcomed...a
relationship is shared, and so should the decisions be as
well! I am an outgoing guy-called a social butterfly-who
really likes "me" time and understands the importance of
