A word about Russian Women, South African Women, and Money Scammers in General…
I hate to be group specific, but there are many money scammers out ther that prey on people that are HIV Positive. Specifically one’s we have run accross are Russian Women and South African Women. They speak of love and coming to your country, especially if you live in another country other than their’s.
They will tell you how they will make you feel and try to coerce you into sending them money.
DO NOT SEND ANYONE MONEY UNLESS YOU ARE OK WITH NOT GETTING IT BACK.
If you are ok with blindly sending money to someone you have never met, and lives in another country, then you deserve to loss it.
Just because we are HIV+ doesn’t mean we are anyless human, anyless loveable. We are still real people that deserve nothing but THE BEST in any partner that we seek. We don’t need to turn to desperation, just because we are HIV+, there is ALWAYS someone out there who will love us, no matter that we are HIV+. They will see past the dis-ease, and take us for who we really are inside.
People have contacted me saying they sent someone money and as soon as they picked it up, they never heard from the person again. Asking ME to refund the money or do something about it. I can’t refund your lost money, nor can I really do anything about it other than to delete their account.
If someone is asking you for money so they can come to your country, please alert us and we will delete their account. However, if they intend on getting their own plane ticket to come see you, and they want you to split the cost, then do so AFTER they arrive, not before.
This will insure that at least they can pay for it themselves and then they have a genuine vested interest in coming to see you.
